On August 31, 2009 Source/Inc. ceased operations. Thus ended an adventure that began in 1968 with an idea for a better way to bring clients at all levels greater benefit from the power of design. From a small off-street retail space in historic Riverside, IL, to a signature location on Michigan Avenue overlooking The Art Institute and Millennium Park, wherever it was housed, Source was always home to a fascinating and talented progression of designers, planners, writers, managers, technology experts, freelancers, and a powerhouse of support personnel.

This unique team attracted clients, large and small, well-known and unknown, who brought interesting projects and together we created significant design solutions. The combination of successful work and strong team relationships fostered a working trust over the years which became the basis of many longstanding client relationships. To all who gave life to Source/Inc. for 41 years, a word of gratitude. Thank you for helping us make it happen.
